| Do you have any idea how many
shows are booked in a single comedy season? How many comics
traveling ba-zillions of cumulative miles to entertain thousands and
thousands of comedy fans? They are all surprisingly huge
numbers. So, by the time I managed to whittle the list of nominees
down to the final five, I had spent countless hours with way too many cups
of coffee to select the Comic of the Year.
"They are all so good", kept going through my
mind. How am I going to choose? They all are deserving!
In the final tally three of the finest ended up scoring equally.

surprised how difficult the selection process really has been. I think
it's a testament to the high quality of entertainment on Hysterical stages
across the country. All of you are standing ovation quality. All of you
have your own unique style of comedy and I dig the fact that you’re all
so different. I wish all of you the best and I look forward to the day I
can no longer afford you (Big
